Rage with my girlfriends (: It was my first time going to a gay club and I had to say that I had a blast! Dressing up and dancing were my favorite parts. We got to meet some of cool and adorable gay men (: The bartender was so sweet and he knew sign language! He gave us the directions to the best tacos after clubbing. I had a glass of Mai Tai that made me uh too hyper than others at midnight. Try it if you are feeling tired! Rage next time!

never carry your iphone with you to laundry

I repeat, NEVER. Lesson learned. Here it goes, I accidently threw or more like tossed my iphone into the washer along with the clothes. Never would it cross across my mind. I was too busy being thrilled that my jeans are finally being washed and they will be tight again! Little did I knew after I pressed colors & white when selecting cycle,  I questioned myself, "Where is my phone?" Ta da! Trapped in the machine being soaked. -_- Thanks friends for suggesting to put it in a pot of rice. There are ugly water stain on my screen.

Look at me freaking out over a phone. It's my life, but I think I can live without it for few days. I am totally not telling Dad after what happened to my old phone falling into toilet.   See, isn't it a curse having bad luck for a week?

On a brighter note, there was a grand opening of new gym and I can't stop staring and gushing at everything inside this sexy gym! I am going there after writing this post (: However, there are food trucks, jumpers, free snacks, glitter tattoo parlor, photo booth, and more! My friend and I tried out this grilled cheese truck and I ordered brie melt. I AM IN HEAVEN! I already followed this precious truck on twitter (; Follow this god of cheesiness!

I love glitter and tattoos! So my girls and I got them after fighting against the wind.

first week of spring semester

Could my first week be worse? Was it because of 2012? I hope not, but those ridiculous events that happened this week made me wanting to cry. Luckily, good things are happening :) I made so many careless mistakes and I really need to focus.

Mistakes:
-Brought the wrong edition when I already knew the professor informed us to buy the correct edition.
-Brought the correct edition online and sent it to my home not my apartment. NOOO.
-Found out that Family Consumer Science as my minor was switched to major. Uh, where's my psychology major?

First week of school can be dramatic, but I know it will go smoothly through the semester. Those mistakes aren't a big deal, but to me, it does. I always made mistakes and I had to freak out nonstop so I want to fix it. Those mistakes are slowly becoming to the solutions, whew.

On the good note, first week of school is always easy! (: Reunited with roommates and bumped into friends on the campus always feel good!

starburst bracelet

 Too easy. Too colorful. Too much fun making this! I kept glimpsed at starburst bracelets whenever the wearer passed me, but I never got the chance to make them. I just didn't want to eat those candies by myself! Luckily, last Halloween, I bought a bag of Starburst and nobody came to our door. Then Christmas, my Secret Santa gave me a box of Starburst. Perfect solution. No, I didn't eat those candies. I prefer strawberry and girly flavors :)

korea for a day

I woke up on one morning and thought to myself, "Why don't I go to Korea?" So I did it. I jumped on a plane and flew to Korea. I visited this friendship bell between Korea and United States. What a beautiful view with sunset and ocean! This area used to be a military force, you can see the hideout and rockets ready to be launched. So happy to go there. Thanks, friend!

I think I will do cartwheels at awesome places.  Just kidding, I got my chance to visit very southern California such as San Pedro where this Korean Friendship Bell can be found. 

eat at morton's steakhouse

When it comes to birthday dinners, we would go to a fine restaurant to enjoy the good food and wine. Plus desserts! Last year, we went to Tap's for my birthday. Uh-mazing! Yesterday was my little brother's birthday so my dad made reservations at Morton's. Thanks to Yelp, I looked up on which food to order! My filet mignon was so soft and juicy! Side dishes and appetizers were very small, but delicious. I am not a big fan of oysters, but cooked oysters with spinach dip on it, it was magically wonderful. Our desserts were hot chocolate cake and creme brulee. Lil brother didn't like chocolate desserts, but hot chocolate cake? He wolfed it down and didn't save me a piece.

 Done! I hope my list is good enough for you to use when you visit NYC. Here are several places that I am not able to add: World Trade Center, Statue of Liberty, subway, Brooklyn Bridge (just because), Alice's Teacup, Chinatown, Soho, Rockefeller Plaza, MoMA, and Central Park Zoo. Introducing our new game called:
“Don’t Be A Di*k During Meals With Friends.”
The first person to crack and look at their phone picks up the check.
Our (initial) purpose of the game was to get everyone off the phones free from twitter/fb/texting and to encourage conversations.
Rules:
1) The game starts after everyone has ordered.
2) Everybody places their phone on the table face down.
3) The first person to flip over their phone loses the game.
4) Loser of the game pays for the bill.
5) If the bill comes before anyone has flipped over their phone everybody is declared a winner and pays for their own meal.
Variations/house rules:
-Starting the game after everyone is seated.
-In the rare event that multiple people flip their phones simultaneously, the bill is split between said players.
- Feel free to invoke penalties/strikes systems.
Notes:
- No touching or messing with anybody else’s phones.
- You don’t have to stack the phones.
- I realize I should perhaps think of a different name for this awesome game. Because I don’t mean to imply that everyone who checks their phone during meals is a di*k.
- I recommend not being such a stickler or hardass on people about the rules and even initiation of the game. Basic premise is to just get people open to the idea of staying active and attentive to one another. But if someone has to take a call; they have to take a call.
- Have fun! It’s really more of a fun concept in this new age high tech life of ours. Conversation is the spice of life.

go to madison square garden & yankee stadium

Sorry, I have to squeeze two into a post because they are so worth it :) If you are a sports fan, you have to go to the oldest baseball stadium like Yankees stadium! Except it was remodeled and it really looked beautiful on the outside and inside too.



Plus Madison Square Garden for a basketball game. I heard orchestra was shown in this building too. I was afraid that my little step will make the whole building will crash down on me. The structure just looked so old and the paint was peeled off unlike the Staples Center in Los Angeles. Still, it was cool watching Knicks playing in the oldest building ever. Very honored to be seated on a broken chair.

sit on the bench from 500 days of summer

I get easily amused by little things so when the boy and I arrived to Angels Knoll park few minutes before the closing time, we spotted the bench! Tom and Summer's bench :) I was so thrilled and can't stop taking pictures heh. Thanks to strangers for taking pictures of the boy and me!

eat at luke's lobster

Hey seafood lovers, do you love lobster, shrimp, and crab in the buns? If yes, then go to Luke's Lobster. Fresh seafood all the way from Maine :) The boy and I had to walk across the Central Park just to check this place out. I wish there's Luke's Lobster in California! The owner said maybe :) We ordered Noah's Ark which was perfect for two! Two of each sandwich like crab, lobster, and shrimp plus empress crab. I like the lobster bun the best!
